21st Century Celebrations was founded by father and son duo Geoff and Malcolm Crow, operating from their home in Dundee. With a passion for creating unforgettable moments, they set out to bring spectacular fireworks displays to events across Scotland.
As the business grew, so did its ambitions. A rebrand to 21CC Fireworks reflected the company’s focus on delivering high-quality, professional firework displays for weddings, corporate events, and large-scale public celebrations.
To support expansion, 21CC Fireworks relocated to the Central Belt, strategically positioning itself for nationwide operations. The team took on an ambitious project—renovating a former sawmill into a state-of-the-art fireworks facility, designed to enhance safety, storage, and production capabilities.
Recognizing the demand for a broader range of event services, the company rebranded as 21CC Group, introducing two further divisions, 21CC Events & 21CC Pyrotechnics.
With a growing reputation in the events industry, 21CC launched 21CC Productions, offering lighting, sound, video, and technical solutions to elevate events to the next level. This addition ensured clients had access to cutting-edge technology and seamless production services.
As demand soared, so did the need for a larger operational base. Following extensive renovations, the 21CC Productions team moved to Grange Road, Livingston providing enhanced facilities, greater logistical efficiency, and room for future expansion.
Recognizing the need for high-quality event equipment available for short-term use, 21CC launched Hire & Sales, offering industry professionals access to top-tier pyrotechnics, lighting, AV, and event infrastructure.
The next big step came in 2023 with a move to Old Deans Road, affectionately known as ODR, positioning 21CC for even greater innovation and growth. This relocation reinforced the company’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
In an exciting development, Funktioncreep joined the 21CC family, further enhancing the company’s creative and technical capabilities. This strategic addition allowed 21CC to further diversify it’s offering, with high impact architectural projection mapping, immersive laser shows, interactive 3D video mapping, LED & holographic projections and live motion graphics.
As 21CC moves forward, the mission remains the same: creating unforgettable experiences through innovation, expertise, and passion. With an ever-expanding portfolio of services and a commitment to excellence, the future of 21CC is brighter than ever.
Along the way we’ve achieved a number of awards and recognitions and having successfully delivered 1000’s of events across the UK over the past 22 years, the 21CC brand has become a recognised symbol of quality and professionalism, not only in Fireworks but as specialists in Event Management, Event Production and Pyro & Effects.
