The Classic FM�fireworks�finale is one of the highlight events of the year for the Opera in the Park event. The event was compered by the popular singer, actor, author, television and Classic FM presenter Aled Jones with performances from the Classic Brit Award-nominee Laura Wright and rising star Amore, the operatic quartet of Royal College of Music.
Live Orchestra
21cc Fireworks were filling the sky to the live orchestra, working closely with the conductor and the orchestra pre event to ensure that the correct effects were chosen for the music and that they were designed to lift at the right time during the performance for the Classic FM fireworks finale.
Operations Manager Nathan Cameron says:
�Designing and firing a large scale professional display takes skill and experience � especially when putting together a design script that is being fired to a live orchestra. The more planning that goes into these events, the better the result will be. With the Classic FM orchestra, the conductor and our team all working together, we are able to fire the effects to fill the sky perfectly on the beat � the audience are always amazed at how we are able to do it � but creating the Classic FM fireworks finale is�a trade secret!�
Classic FM Fireworks Finale
The 21cc Fireworks production team linked up with the Classic FM’s stage management team ahead of the event and put together a technical script co-ordinating colours and effects so that the stage and the sky reflected the same colours to make the Classic FM fireworks finale a real spectacle. As you can see from the image above, the effect co-ordination was a great success.
12,000 people turned out to enjoy the Operatic and Orchestral performances this year. The whole event finished with a fantastic live rendition of the Nessun Dorma complimented with a spectacular Classic Fm fireworks display fired to live performance by the 21cc Fireworks team.
