It’s a time of mixed emotions for the team here at 21CC Group, as we prepare to close the gates on the Hopetoun Sawmill for the last time. The Sawmill has been the home and heart of 21CC for over 13 years and has provided us with a unique and adaptable working space and storage facility.
Tucked away in an idyllic location on the Hopetoun Estate, the site came along with some reminders of its previous use as a working Sawmill – we have some lovely images from the time we moved in!
The team spent weeks transforming its new home into a working space, installing network access, site lighting and functional office spaces, and setting us up for the successful delivery of thousands of events, fireworks displays and special effects work over the years.
As the company has expanded over the years, our need for space has as well; although we added a second premises in Livingston back in 2019, to house the team at 21CC Productions, the time has now come to bring the whole team back together under one roof, in an exciting new location in Livingston West.

Details of our new site will be posted once renovations are completed around the start of April, but for now, we bid the Sawmill a fond farewell, and take a look back at some of our favourite memories from the past 13 years.
